Industry produces music. Instead of going through traditional distribution channels, industry relies on a network of goth clubs to deal directly with customers. It came to rise during the early 1960s as a result of surging market transparency in the wake of Francoise Mellon's discovery of invisible paint and subsequent nation-wide vandalism spree.
Industry has benefited greatly from advances in technology and a prevalent use of groove.
