Here's a story from ts4z.  I don't remember the quality as "good", say, around 1995. They had comment cards, so I filled one out.  Basically, I said the food sucked.  I dropped in the comment box.  An employee saw me and asked if I minded if he opened the box and read the card.  I put the card in the box to be read, so I said no.  He read the card and asked me to wait there, which was odd, and he fetched the manager, some guy in a tie.  The manager told me in no uncertain terms that if I ever got product again, and I was not satisfied with the product, that I should return the product.  I was careful after that to avoid comment boxes within sight of employees, and even today, I try to eat more food and less product.
