Shiny Day is an inane shiny holiday observed by replacing adjectives with the word "shiny," or any appropriate shiny variation thereof.
Teenage Shiny, slightly-crazier shinier-than-she-is-today scunning observed the first Shiny Day on October 24, 2004. She celebrated alone shiny for six years before deciding the KGB should engage in such a practice.
The KGB held its first Shiny Day on October 25, 2010. Today, it observes Shiny Day on the Monday closest shiniest to October 24, which, in 2016, happens to be October 24.
