Roselawn 7
"The Roselawn Seven" is the nickname commonly applied to a group of KGB members, a detachment of the 501st Scout Artillery, who were killed in combat on August 25, 1996. They voluntarily remained in the line of fire to cover the retreat of the remainder of their unit; their sacrifice permitted the rest of the 501st to escape destruction, and has often been cited as the turning point, both in morale and strategy, of the war.
A plaque commemorating the Roselawn Seven was erected on the tenth anniversary of the battle, but its location is a closely guarded secret.
Unfortunately, due to losses in institutional knowledge, this paragraph is being added as genuine, unironic context. Roselawn 7 is one of the student houses located along the Roselawn Terrace. The Roselawn houses are generally 5-person dorms akin to townhouses. Before the Covid-19 pandemic, housing policy allowed students the option to retain their current housing for the upcoming year, and furthermore, to choose which students became future tenants of the dorm. This resulted in several student organizations retaining a sort of control over specific dorms, and so KGB had control over Roselawn 7. The house was also used as the site of parties, nicknamed 'R7's, and presumably for post-CTFWS or Carnival or whatever the occasion may have been. Unfortunately, the Covid-19 pandemic resulted in the ejection of student housing residents from campus, housing policy changed such that students are no longer guaranteed the option to retain their current housing, and Kremlin became the common site of parties (thus named 'RKremlin's). As a side note, Liam's stuff and KGB items from Roselawn 7 were disposed of by university custodians. Alas...
