In order to access the [[KGB]]'s [[treasury]], one make a [[motion]] in a general body [[meetings|meeting]] to make an ''allocation''. This [[motion]] is made in the form of "an allocation not to exceed $X for the purpose of Y". Discussion on the merits of the allocation follows. After the allocation is made, the person making the allocation can then bring in receipts representing their expenditure on the [[KGB|organization]]'s behalf and obtain remuneration from the [[Treasurer]].

When the [[Second Vice President]] makes an allocation for some [[:category:events|event]], discussion is generally expedited by tradition with a chorus of, "It's a good idea!"
