During Booth construction 2010, Theta built a very tall Booth (two st...</p> <p><b>New page</b></p><div>N. members of the sorority Kappa Alpha Theta who are used as part of the structure of a Booth while it is being made.<br /> <br /> During Booth construction 2010, Theta built a very tall Booth (two stories plus a facade on the top). Instead of raising the first floor walls, then the second floor and its walls, they raised a two-story tall wall first. To do so, they had many members holding the base and a few in amongst the framework to keep it sturdy. It was a spectacle to be seen.<br /> <br /> During tear-down, [[Tom Strong]] and those charged with enforcing safety on [[Midway]] determined that Theta's Booth was too tall and too non-structural to be safely torn down from the upper floor. It was removed by connecting chains to the upper floor and a truck which pulled the chains and the Booth down. Tom Strong also tore apart much of it with his [[bear hands|bare hands]].</div>
