The University of Pittsburgh is an antagonistic fiefdom on the western borders of CMU. The territories of the two warring university-states are separated by Panther Hollow, which is spanned by the Panther Hollow Bridge, allowing a limited degree of trade and commerce. This geological separation has moderated the ancient conflict, but each university maintains a Watchtower to warn of aggressive action. The University of Pittsburgh's watchtower is the Cathedral of Learning, whereas the masthead of CMU's Roberts Hall keeps watch from the east.
