The movie night is the stock KGB event, though it has at times been so overused as a filler event that there is now a reluctance to use movie nights. However, a movie night is one of the best way to establish cameraderie through close interactions between members and the sharing of food before, during, and after the movie.

Movie nights used to be held in the West Wing TV room (and it was during one of these movie nights that the Pants of the Revolution were discovered), but because of recurrent difficulties in scheduling, movie nights are now more often held in large lecture halls.
