The Rada Sense Temperature Control System (known affectionately as the Brainwave) is a high-tech, futuristic art installation. A newcomer to the CMU new media scene, the Brainwave has as of January 2007 not achieved campus notoriety, but is slated to become a hit with the denizens of its general area.
Located in Wean 4's central restrooms, the Brainwave inspires and perplexes its admirers with a sleek chrome visage and numerous colorful LEDs adorning its surface. In addition to its visually stimulating presence, the Brainwave responds to the touch of interested passersby with a harmonious groaning and gnashing of valves.
Rumor has it that the Brainwave is a von Neumann machine, posed to spread throughout the lavatories of the hypothetical Gates Center. This has neither been confirmed nor denied by the administration.
EDIT: The Brainwave faucets mysteriously disappeared in the last week of January.
