Old business

Old business is a phase of KGB meetings. During this phase of the meeting it is appropriate to discuss matters of general organizational concern which have been brought up before in previous meetings.
This is also the phase of meeting in which possession of The Thing is transferred.
The phrase "old business" is not always an in-jokey reference to any specific person.
