Nickel of Fault

Once upon a time KGB had a nickel of fault. People had a tendency to lose the nickel, thus requiring that it be replaced frequently. The nickel was replaced with many things, including pennies welded together, a nickel embedded in plexiglass, and various foreign coins. Eventually it was replaced with a pfennig, and thus became the Pfennig of Pfault.
