Zephyr is a mad Thief Neck Pirate (TNP) at KGB. Originally a country-scientist, Zeph was knocked out by a device intended to defy the Second Law of Thermodynamics.
He was then captured by a group of illiterate pirates. Working as a slave for the pirates, Zeph's outside contact was cut off, until a group of KGB members tried to steal the ship for BOOOOOOTH! In the run, Zephyr was poisoned, and the KGB mad scientists had to create a weird concoction of cockatrice eyes, maple syrup, and melted adamantium, to save him.
He has been a member ever since, learning all that he could not beforehand.
Also, the explosion has left him mentally connected to an extra-dimensional, shape-shifting dragon named "Choice"
