It is the strangest library you have ever seen. Not to mention that it goes many floors down, yet the kitchen should be directly beneath. Shrugging off the fact that you have obviously stepped through a portal to God knows where, you start exploring the library. To your discomfort, you realize that all the books, while beautifully bound, are all blank. You do not recognize the language in which the titles are written, yet you get the distinct feeling that these books are extraordinarily important and should never been lost to the ravages of time.

"These books were not all blank, once" says a voice behind you, startling you from your reverie. You turn and see a weary hero sitting in a chair where there was none before. "Have you ever gotten the feeling that you have forgotten something so important you are wondering why you are wasting your energy not doing that thing, but for the life of you, you cannot remember what that thing is? Sometimes, you will encounter something that brings back a glimpse of what it was, but like a dream, it will always fade away the faster the harder you try to grasp it. These books once held that answer, that ultimate goal. I have spent my life fighting to keep this library from disappearing altogether, but it will be a meaningless effort soon. Go through this portal. It will take you to the start of a great quest to restore what is lost".

A portal opens next to him.
